Marketing and Content Assistant

Role Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven assistant to own a defined set of recurring content and operations tasks at SLP Now. This is an execution-focused role. You’ll be working inside well-documented systems, not building them from scratch. You’ll work closely with our Operations PM (Josh) and founder (Marisha) to keep our content publishing, inbox, and admin workflows running smoothly every week.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on checklists, takes ownership of recurring tasks without needing constant check-ins, and communicates proactively when something’s unclear or delayed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Podcast & Content Publishing

  • Prep podcast content assets for weekly episodes
  • Publish podcast episodes across Captivate, WordPress, Userlist, and YouTube
  • Schedule Instagram Stories weekly
  • Schedule Instagram carousel posts weekly
  • Schedule monthly member emails in Userlist

Admin Management

  • Monthly data entry for Userlist and Userpilot reporting sheets (copy/paste tasks only; no analysis required)
  • Ongoing clearance of admin task backlog

Testimonials

  • Complete interview prep (review intake form responses and prepare question doc)
  • Complete post-call wrap-up (sending “thank you” emails, preparing content for ClickUp)
  • Process testimonial videos
  • Schedule testimonial videos on YouTube
  • Schedule testimonial blog posts in WordPress

You’re a great fit if you…

  • Are highly reliable (You do what you say you’ll do, on time!)
  • Love a checklist and a clear SOP
  • Are comfortable in tools like ClickUp, Canva, Descript, WordPress, YouTube, Later, or similar (Willingness to learn matters more than knowing all of them!)
  • Communicate proactively when something is unclear or delayed
  • Take ownership of recurring tasks without needing constant direction

Hours & Compensation

  • Estimated 8-12 hours/week (with room to grow)
  • Flexible scheduling (Most tasks are async with weekly deadlines)
  • $20/hour
